Introduction

We are a 3rd generation carbon management agency and we are trying to help to slow down climate change. We believe the only way is for us to all do what we can. Governments will not slow climate change on their own. Academia cannot sort this out alone. Together we can help them.

1st generation offsetting was planting trees, 2nd generation offsetting was projects without global validations.

3rd Generation offsetting is supporting ethical NGO backed projects with global verifications, underpinned by personal responsibility.

It means taking responsibility to reduce CO2 emissions where we can and offsetting the rest with globally verified and NGO backed projects.

We are proud of our ethical stance: we don't work with projects that turn food into fuel. We support VCS and Gold Standard projects

So, if you do buy in to this idea of collective responsibility then great…and why not take it one stage further...

Take a look at your personal carbon footprint. The average is about 12 tonnes a year. You may be able to reduce this down to 8 if you apply yourself. And then become fully carbon aware... offset more carbon than you emit. It could cost less than a £100 and you will be helping some great projects. Just an idea really, but if it catches on then who knows what the positive impacts could be!
