Our Ethics
We are proud of our ethics. Firstly, if you must fly, or drive, as we all have to do sometimes, then we think that offsetting is better than doing nothing. Especially if you over compensate. However there are things that we won’t do!
- We won’t support agricultural bio-fuel projects. Turning food into fuel is madness.
- We won’t work directly with businesses that won’t address their own environmental impacts and use offsets as business protection tools. This is simply trading on pollution.
- We follow Defra and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change aircraft emissions multiplier of 1.9 on our flight calculators because it’s needed due to the other more toxic (than CO2) gasses produced by planes.
